The Hillary for VP boomlet

I'm hearing some of the Hillary crowd are floating a possible VP nod as the price Obama will have to pay to get her out of the race. She's also hoping to get Obama to agree to pick up her campaign debt. Let's swat that down right now. First of all, Obama would be an idiot to put her on the ticket. Imagine having her and Bill watching your back! Obama would have to triple his secret service detail just to get through his first term. Secondly, Obama doesn't need the Clintons politically. They're yesterday's newspaper and have proven toxic in destroying the long relationship between the African-American community and the Democratic Party. I think he'll pick an experienced hand like Bill Richardson. He brings foreign policy and relationships with foreign leaders to the ticket. He's also Hispanic.
