Happy Immigration Day

It used to be May 1st was the day the former Soviet Union celebrated communism with a march and show of force through Red Square. The idea was to taunt the U.S. and make it clear they felt they had nothing to fear from the paper tiger that was America. Ronald Reagan put an end to that nonsense.
Now May 1st has become Immigration Day. A day when millions of people here illegally can flaunt and taunt with impunity. As I write this, the good folks of Los Angelos are hosting an immigration rally through downtown LA. Now in a world where the rule of law counted for something, these people should be marched right into a holding pen and sent back to their country of origin. But as long as liberals like Ted Kennedy and Hillary Clinton look at illegals as possible democratic voters, illegals have nothing to fear from the paper tiger that is the INS.
Here's my suggestion. How about we pick another day, say Ted Bundy's birthday, and have National Wanted Felon Day. On that day the hundreds of thousands of wanted felons could gather in front of the Supreme Court and complain about what a hassle it is to avoid contact with the judicial system. Like the illegal alien, it's no fun thinking a routine traffic stop could have you eating baloney sandwiches in the pokey. Both groups are operating under the radar and it's time we cast off their shackles and gave them a place at the table with folks who play by the rules. POWER TO THE PEOPLE.
